Henderson's Relish - nooooooo

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/10/2008 01:35

I was idly reading the label whilst boiling the kettle just now.

And not only does it say 'Made in Sheffield for over a 100 years' (shudder) but in the ingredients list is 'artificial sweeteners'.

Does anyone have a comprehensive ingredients list? I trusted the stuff to be crap free. Gargh.

yes, I do
I have a comprehensive ingredients list right here!
I keep in next to my "5005 things to do with tumble dryer lint" list, and my "Density variations of bus-stop seats in the Northhamptonshire region"

You need to get out more.

What is Henderson's Relish?

brightwell · 16/10/2008 07:16

I love Henderson's,nice on cheese on toast, in stews & casseroles. I suppose it's like Worcester sauce, same shape bottle, same colour. It's a nothern thing! I was up in Sheffield at the weekend and I stocked up.

What's wrong with 'made in Sheffield for over 100 years'?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/10/2008 08:24

Made in Sheffield for over a 100 years

OP posts:

That just means it's traditional.

Carmenere · 16/10/2008 09:44

I think that they would have to say made to the same recipe for over a 100 years.

brightwell · 16/10/2008 09:44

Old fashioned I mean.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/10/2008 09:56

no no no

Over a 100 is wrong.

It should say over 100 , or over a hundred.

brightwell · 16/10/2008 10:38

As my dear old Grandad would say.
