biscuit cutters

i have a cool set of biscuit cutters and I want to make some basic biscuits so i can use the cutters.. does anyone have a good recipe that tastes good, i dont want to make gingerbread men

Here's our plain biccie recipe

125g butter
125g sugar
1 egg
250g flour
pinch of cinammon or mixed spice if you wish
