Help with ingredient subsitution for chutney please

Going to make Marrow Chutney. Recipe is marrow (obviously), tomatoes, onions, allspice, turmeric, ginger, mustart powder & seeds and white wine & vinegar (mixed 1:3). Have got a botttle apple cider vinegar mouldering in cupboard, do you think I could use that?

It might show on the cider vinegar bottle what the ratio of cider to vinegar is and if it was miles off 1:3 I'd hesitate a bit, but otherwise would say it was fine.

Can't see a huge problem, and you might even discover a new and wonderful chutney recipe!
