What is the minimum amount of time

you would soak dried chick peas for?

I've put them in a tub in the cupboard (thought I'd written instructions but haven't) & now I can't remember

& I was doing so well!

Normally they say "overnight" so I suppose that's a minimum of 8 hours - I have some dried pulses in a sort of soup mix from health food shop, but it isn't any more precise than that I'm afraid.

6 hrs if you soak them in boiling water.
