snack ideas

My DS and DD always request snack am and pm and until now I have mostly given them fruit, veg sticks with occasional treat of home made biscuits/cake. Recently DS has started complaining about "not fruit again"-although he loves fruit and eats plenty. Any ideas for appealing snacks that will satisfy my need to feel am giving something mostly healthy but will seem bit more exciring?

breadsticks, bits of cheese, pitta bread.

Pitta pizza?
Toast & split a wholemeal pitta bread. Spread with salsa, tomato puree or pasta sauce. Top with a little grated cheese and anything else like ham, sweetcorn etc & pop under grill to melt the cheese.
1 pitta could be shared between the two of them

I second the yoghurt idea. Greek/soya with raisins and some nuts/granola.

Crackers with nut butter,

Cereal such as branflakes

Hummus and chopped up veg

Homemade cheese or fruit scones

Peanut cookies

Milkshake (powder and milk or icecream, fruit and milk)

Smoothies with frozen berries, banana, and yoghurt

Cup of hot soup (could use tinned or cartons, very quick and healthy)

Roast some chickpeas till crunchy, then sprinkle with some garlic salt
