Egg Wash

Have I dreamt it or can you buy egg wash? I have made some garlic bread rolls and it seems a waste to use an egg just to glaze them if I could buy something. does anyone have a clue what I am talking about?!

I always hated 'wasting' an egg on an egg wash, until we had hens. But it does make the food look so much better.

Only recently thought to use up the extra like littlelapin says, i just put it in the microwave for 30 secs, and gave a little scrambled egg to dd as a snack.
