Easy Chicken Pie

I want to make a chicken pie for dinner - have perused lots of recipes but most mention mushroom soup and ready made pastry

Anyone around with a simple recipe for chicken pie (have lots of fresh veg to put inside to)

Have you got nigellas how to eat book?

I make the one in their in the kids section

its very yummy (i put mash on top rather than pastry though)

1 tbsp butter
1/2 chick stock cube
1 tbsp flour
300ml milk

melt butter and sto cube'
stir in flour
make white sauce with milk

add cooked chicken / veg... and top with mash YUM
