I want to do sparkly xmas cakes. But, can I get edible glitter? (sure I've read about it on MN but wanted to be certain)

Also, where can I get little xmas trees or ice skaters or something like that to decorate them with?

Thanks

you can get edible glitter and great fun it is too!
Do you have a cake decorating shop locally? They will sell them. Lakeland may do little figures but tbh, go get some ready to ise icing (they sell coloured stuff in asda) and have a go at making your own little snowmen and santas etc. it's just like playdoh and very staisfying

there are a zillion websitesd selling cake stuff, here is one for info

cheers fullmoonfield, thought I'd read on here about edible glitter. Just thought that knowing my luck I'd imagined it & would end up poisoning everyone with my 1st Xmas cakes for the family.

I may make my own snowmen & santas . . . will probably be worse than my nearly 2yo's play d'oh efforts though
