What about a mumsnet cookbook

Has this been done?

We could call it something like "stuff they'll really eat for tea" and contribute all our favourite recipes for quick and easy things which are reasonably healthy and which our kids actually like.

I can't be the only one who stares vacantly at the supermarket shelves looking for inspiration each week and ends up cookig the same old faves or trying something new which gets shoved around the plate and left.

good idea.
could we have a section on things the whole family would eat i.e. toddlers and the adults

And a section entitled 'Oh bu**er, there's nothing but somescabby vegetables and a few mouldering things in the cupboards, what do I cook?'

Newbarnsleygirl · 02/03/2005 12:03

Slug, I always think that about Ready Steady Cook when they say 'and all this from £5' when they blatantly have a cupboard/fridge full of milk, cream, eggs, herbs, spices, etc, etc.
