vegebox - who has them? What do you think?

I am really looking forward to my first vegebox! Looks really good value - a family box for a tenner delivered. All very very local produce and so excited.

What did you think of yours?

i used to have one. Organic, local produce, v. ethically sound and all that. But I gave up on it after about a year - it always had loads of courgettes, & there's only so many things you can make with courgettes, especially when dh doesn't actually like courgettes!

we got our first one last week.....dp has been enjoying cooking from it although we're now getting down to lots of leafy stuff and some potatoes.

Our leaflet said the leafy stuff will start to give way to more things like squashes and turnips over the next few weeks which will be better for us as we don't eat meat. WE're very happy with the quality of ours, we had the last of the beetroot and carrots last night roasted and used the potato and celeriac for mash.
The only thing we've found is that we've been used to having some sort of meal plan for the week and buying to suit that, and now we're having to be a bit more creative and cook with what we have instead.
