I am about to enter the world of baking! I have borrowed a 30 year old Kenwood from a friend and it's so excellent. I need to buy some kind of mixer, but definitely cannot afford one of the super duper ones. Which ones do you guys have, which are good and what should I look out for? TIA

Having used had loads of mixers over the years nothing beat the Kenwood my mum inherited (late 1960s one).

In the end, I got Christmas money one year, pooled it and bought another Kenwood and it's fabulous.

Probably not what you wanted to hear...sorry!
