Egg Recipes Please

Hi there,

I have a man who does an egg round where I live. He sells a tray of small free range eggs for £2.50 which I think is great.

Please can you help me with some recipes other than the normal scrambled, boiled poached, omlettes etc which the family are getting a bit bored of.

Savoury or sweet.

Thank you

I made a lovely bakewell tart at the weekend from Nigella, hers was for fresh rasps though and I did mine with some rather solid blackberry jam that I ruined made last weekend!

Was better cold than hot, as a little sweet (if I made it again I'd use less sugar)but scrum - used 4 eggs.

We keep chickens, so am always on the lookout for use!

Do you do fritatta's or spanish omelettes? They are an excellent cheap and filling dinner and you can throw in just about anything.

We have chickens too, my standbys for using up eggs are custard and pasta. I also make eggy crumpets for breakfast, same as eggy bread but with, um, crumpets.
