What is a tagine? (sp?)

Sounded like it was highly recommended by some of the people on the thread but I haven't a clue what it is to know what they were talking about iyswim?

TIA

and the stew itself is lovely - a bit like a curry kind of thing but so much more subtle. if you like spicy fod, try one! M7S doa version in tehir ready mades - try that yumm

it's a moroccan style stew thing-called a tagine after the pot it is traditionally cooked in.which looks like this

Blu · 26/09/2008 10:16

You don't actually need the tagine pot ion order to cook a tagine though - a good heavy casserole with lid will do fine.

Blu · 26/09/2008 10:16

Typicaly tagines are a little spicy and fruity.

oh, I'll have a look around for a recipe then. Sounds like something I would enjoy.

Thanks all
