Hellmans in the squeezy bottle - should I be surprised it's runnier than the jar?

I would have thought it would be the same consistency - it's pretty grim - runny yuk.

Could I return it to Asda saying it's yuk and swap to the jar? Seems a waste to put it in the bin, it's a huge bottle.

Use it for potato salad or coleslaw maybe?
