white fish in risotto?

Can someone offer me some guidance as to whether it would go as I'm really not sure but oh suggested it earlier because we're trying to finish off odd bits from our last shop that are in the freezer to make room for this fortnight's

Thanks

oh yum!

yes, yes!

Twill be gorgeous.

Add a twist of lemon if you've got any around, a sprig of parsley and you've got a really simple yet effective meal

really? Well I wouldn't have but now someone's said yes I'll try it!

Do I need to bake the fish beforehand or chuck it in raw? Or what?

what sort of stock do I use? & what goes well with fish in risotto? Or just fish & lemon & a bit of parsley?

Thanks Squonk

miss the cheese out and put some peas in will be lovely

lucysmam · 24/09/2008 21:16

Thanks charitas

Never thought about that either but am not sure about fish & cheese as a combination!

Tinned peas it'll have to be though unless I can find some random ones in the freezer

Chicken stock or water? & do I need to cook the fish first?

Pretty please with cream and a cherry on the top . . . . can someone tell me what kind of stock would work best, and whether to cook the fish first?

I'm not very good at this cooking lark without a lot bit of help
