my Mum heard and hit the roof!
She says that i've made them far too early.
Have I?
They are ham(out of a packet)and cheese.I've put them in food bags into their sandwich boxes and then into the fridge. Is that bad?

You can freeze sandwiches.

Always make 'em the night before. Too difficult in the morning - too much to do getting x2 children and dh out the door!

I always do a week's worth in one go (sometimes a fortnight!) and freeze them. Take one out of the freezer the night before and bob's your uncle.

No complaints here. Bizarrely, it seems to take less in the evening than it does in the morning. I'm sure that's how Einstein worked out his time relativity thingy.

I ALWAYS make the lunch's for the next day while the dinner is cooking and put them in the fridge. I have never had anyone complain or be ill as a result. Sounds like you are organised to me.

It never occurred to me not to make them the night before. It's about as much as I can manage to organise breakfast in the morning, never mind lunch as well.

Very interested in the frozen sandwiches. What fillings can you get away with in them?
