Not tuna and sweetcorn, ideally. Any offers? Quick and easy?

Pan of cooked pasta & mix in tom paste, tin of toms, some chopped up peppers, lightly cooled onions, some garlic - any other veg like peas, green bean tin - some herbs, pepper. Mix in some grated cheese. Put in oven dish with more cheese on top - yum. Cook for about 20 mins on medium heat until bubbling below & cheese cooked on top

Macaroni, spinach, ricotta, sundried tomato and white onion. With a bechamel topping and maybe breadcrumbs on top to make it crispy?

Jennyusedtobepink · 19/09/2008 12:39

Oh that sounds gorgeous too.

It's dead easy, as the macaroni cooks lightly fry the chopped onion (or , even easier, chuck it in with the macaroni) drain the pasta and blanch the spinach in the pasta water. Throw it all in the oven with the tomatoes and ricotta a pinchof pepper etc, do the bechamel and add ater 5 minutes or so.

I usually serve it with a sweetish leaf salad.

You're such a domestic goddess TDWP - you're my idol.

Nah, more of a domestic wreck right now, but thanks for the compliment

Cook pasta add tin of ratatouille and tin of toms, white sauce and top with cheese. Traditional end of the month dish in the InTheseShoes childhood home. You could of course make the ratatouille [foodsnob emoticon] instead.

Yum!

OMG! Didnt know that recipe thingy was here!!!

Bung a jar of good quality tomato pasta sauce on to hot pasta. Mix in some balls of mozzarella (nice yummy buffalo if poss) and lots of fresh basil. Top with a few more mozarella balls and basil leaves. Put in hot oven for 10-15 mins. (...actually a Jamie Oliver recipe, using his own sauces). nice with crusty bread and green salad.

Bung jar of pasta sauce, some strips of cooked chicken breast and some sunblush tomatoes into pasta, top with grated mozaarella and bake in hot oven.

Mix in a tub of Philapdelphia cream cheese and some cherry tomatoes to hot pasta. Top with grated cheddar and bake in hot oven. Very quick, cheat's version of baked macaroni cheese! Very good as a side dish for BBQs!

Fry some onion and mushrooms in a pan with garlic. Add chick peas and tinned toms. Salt and pepper and a spponful of cumin. Place in a casserole with cooked pasta. Pour a good layer of bechamel sauce over the top. Bake. About 30 mins.
