Fresh figs, what can you do with them?

I bought 4 on monday, they are sitting in my kitchen, neglected. No idea what to do with them. Any ideas?

Get some goat's cheese and drizzle the lot with honey. Yum.

or just eat them on their own

Eat them for breakfast with honey and plain greek yoghurt.

does anyone actually eat the skin? i never do but i know that you could if you wanted to.

I always eat the skin - never occurred to me not to.

Artichokes - I love your fresh tuna pasta recipe btw. Yum.

Just eat them fresh,skin and all. No recipe will taste better than that.

Or just munch em down with whipped cream

I love them now but when I was a kid I used to think it was like eating crunchy fleas in a bag. Hope I haven't put you off?

Equally, I used to think of lychees as eyeballs, anchovies as salty slugs and grapes as solidified snot.

Pleasant but somewhat exotic childhood I had...

Eat them. YUM!

Cut into quarters with serano ham, goats cheese and balsamic syrup on some rocket - gorgeous.

Or if you're my ds2, just as they come - he is an addict!
