chicken curry, like from the chinese take-away?

It's my fave but am too skint to get it delivered from my fave restaurant (although delivery is lazy since it's only actually 3 doors away in a huge old pub)

so thought I might have a bash at making it myself

Thanks

Well lucy, what chicken curry exactly do you usually order?

And what do you order with it and do you want to make these as well?

Let me know and I'll see what recipes I've got.

Naan bread is very easy to make btw!

Oh, just saw chicken curry form a chinese take-away. Is that like a generic curry like curry sauce they sreve with chips?

I do have a very lovely child-friendly mild korma curry recipe if you want?

There is an incredible book called 'The Curry Secret'. We have not had a single takeaway since buying it. It is just concerned with how to make a curry like the ones you get from a take-away, nothing more. It all comes down to the sauce base, a mix of onion, ginger and garlic. I really recommend it, it has saved us a fortune! It was really cheap, dh got it off amazon I think....

OMDB, yes please! I love chinese takeaway chicken curry, really loved since being pg!

I usually order prawn toasts as oh loves them! & egg fried rice n chow mein.

Philpot, I'll have a look for that shortly, thank-you
