I made some last night for myself and DH and there's loads left over. It's not especially hot but you can certainly taste the chilli in it...?

Yes, just cool it down with some yogurt.

yup - with some yog and a dollop of mashed avocado to boot.

Oh goodness yes. We recently discovered that the reason DS (14 months) was getting fussy with his food was that he doesn't like bland stuff . Chilli, curry, Mexican and garlic-loaded things go done much better. Just beware the breath, and don't give them spicy foods if they're tired and inclined to rub their eyes!

Yes but make sure you're prompt with nappy changes tomorrow.

Twiglett · 17/09/2008 14:31

yes

most children love tasty food .. in fact the fussiest kids are sometimes IME just bored with blandness

I did have a thread once about my 3 year old shrieking 'fire in my bum' after chicken in black bean though

I usually give mine raw chillies to munch on. Oh the fun we have with that one!

Twiglett · 17/09/2008 14:35

Good stuff! He's with his nanny tomorrow so I'm guessing she'll get the brunt of the nappies. Heh.
