We've got friends coming to stay on Thursday and I've got to do proper meals every night. I know they're pudding fans. I like baked cheesecake much more than the chill it with gelatine sort. But I can't find a recipe anywhere. Please can you help?

Here's mine:

Crush 130g biscuits (I use ginger) and add 50g melted butter. Use mixture to line shallow removable base tin and chill. (I put a disc of greaseproof paper on the base of tin)
Mix 500g of fromage frais, 100g sugar, 1 egg, half teaspoon ginger and squirt of lemon juice.
Pour over base, bake in oven about 4 for about 45 mins or until set. Cool.

Sounds absolutely scrummy, thanks very much!

and if you want another there's a Cranberry one in the Tana Ramsey cookbook which is yum. Would get it for you, but baby asleep on my lap.

If you want it will post it later. Tis lush!
