Green tomato chutney - anyone make it?

Have mountains of tomatoes (well, quite a lot) yet they are not ripening.
Thought I might make chutney - anyone got any tips?
Like how many jars do I need, what's the best recipe etc?

If you want them to ripen, put them in a brown paper bag with a banana - it works!
