Any ideas. I have bicarb of soda but can't find how that works with plain flour or if it does. Is it the same as baking powder?

These are divine

Dont need a recipe, melt the chocolate and stir in crispies. If you have syrup put some in and if you have sprinkles put them on top when you are done. Enjoy them, maybe send me one for giving you the idea.

Jam tarts? flour, butter, water for pastry and jam for middle.

1 crispy cake done, 2nd on its way - this one's got your name on it singyswife!

I'd forgotten shortbread - I've done that before in similar circs. Came out a bit wrong though! But edible - well I thought so!

cheese, flour, butter..

mix together, roll out, cut into shapes.. bake for cheesy straws/biscuits

DownyEmerald · 09/09/2008 15:30

Jam tarts, really? Marmalade in this house though, that would be fab. Do that next time.

I shall keep this thread though, it takes an astral conjunction for me to feel we've got time for baking, and I always have a 'mare because I don't have the right things in!
