I don;t eat meat, but if I was cooking for tonight for DH/DD - I'd go for chicken casserole today; comfort food for a cold wet day and easy to make.

Do you have recipe for the curry though please?

Mmmmm, I fancy spud curry. Both are warming, comfort food dishes, imo.

Hulababy

450g/1 lb peeled, cubed potatoes
1 large onion, chopped
25g/1 oz ghee or butter
1/2 -2 green chillies (to taste), deseeded and finely chopped
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dried ginger
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp tomato puree
200ml/8 fl oz boiled water or veg stock
A little chopped fresh coriander to serve
Boil the potatoes until cooked, but still firm. Drain.
Heat the ghee or butter in a large pan.
Add the onion and chillies and cook until lightly browned.
Add the turmeric, coriander, ginger, cumin and tomato puree and cook for about 2 mins.
Add the potatoes and stir.
Add the water or stock and bring to the boil.
Simmer for about 5 mins.
Stir in the chopped coriander and serve.
