hi im new to this, but having just read the christmas cake messages i just wanted to say that last year i made 3 christmas cakes (from delia smiths complete cookbook) for the first time 1 for my family 1 for in laws 1 for my dad and they have both put orders in for this year!!! i have soaked my fruit for 2 weeks and when the cake is made i use a cocktail stick to make holes all over the cake and then pour brandy all over it once a fortnight!
