Q Question, can I freeze cooked pearl barley?

Title says it all really,cooked far too much in error, can I freeze it?

I'd just pop it in a freezer bag.

I do this with millet too, then just give the bag a good hard whack to loosen it all if I need any and only take out and defrost as much as I need.

What a good idea. I love pearl barley but it takes ages to cook properly. Mmmmm....
