can you freeze SOFT cheeses?

We brought loads back from France but DH is now on antibiotics for 6 weeks and can't have dairy.

Have also posted on that fab freezer secrets thread.

Yes I freeze philadelphia. Have frozen normal cheese/blue cheese/camembert.

Thanks but DH has vetoed my decision to freeze as he doesn't think you can.
