Pie recipes - preferably beef or lamb

I'm looking for some nice pie recipes - but we all prefer red meat to chicken pies (although nothing that contains kidney - gross)

It's really those deep dish types with the puffy pastry on top! I've not made one before so no idea about the meat and how long you need to cook it for etc..... Thanks

It depends on the quality of the meat, but I use a recipe from Good Housekeeping - and add a 'secret' ingredient, called Mushroom Ketchup. If the meat is stewing beef from Tesco, I cook it in the slow cooker.
