If you give your children a snack after school, what sort of things do you give?

That's it really. I don't usually but they are often foul tempered and maybe it has been a long time since lunch.

I have to hand dd's snack over as she walks out of the classroom otherwise she'd be absolutely hideous on the walk home (even though we only live two streets away!) - she gets homemade cake, flapjack, little biscuits, raisins, strawberries/cherries (in season) - she's 5 btw

we eat at half 5-ish depending on who's doing what after school

ds2 is now 8 and he's fine to wait until he gets home for a snack
