I have just made lentil soup for the first time and its bloody delicious!

So easy as well - I'll be making it all the time from now on.

Sometimes though I just throw everything into the slow cooker, roast the garilc add the garlic and leave for 4/5 hours in the slow cooker and it tastes ok. It makes a lovely thick soup, great for cold Scottish winter days. In fact I am having some for lunch today.

Tracy, I followed your recipe and it was delicious! The girls loved it.

Carrot and lentil soup is sooooo lovely. I would eat dahl every day if I could.

I have made a similar soup a few times with chicken stock an onion and seasoning. Twas LUSH.
