I have loads of chicken stock and dh has requested a creamy style chicken soup not the recipe of his mums we use which is more like a clear chicken soup.

Never actually done this but wonder if you just boil up some potatoes in the stock then blitz with a blender, then stir in cream just prior to serving??

Will watch with interest!

Found this on videojug for cream of chicken soup.

I use one like this, it doesn't have cream in but because you sweat off the veg and then stir through some flour before adding the stock it looks and tastes quite creamy.

I expect OP has used the stock from 17 years ago by now.

This is the one I tend to use. It’s delicious. It’s a turkey soup (for using up Christmas turkey), but I’ve made it with chicken too and it’s the same. It’s paleo, so no potatoes. I personally love the turnips instead, but you could totally sub in potatoes if you want.
