how much do you give them?
i give ds 3 BIG ice cubes and maybe 1/2 small cubes
and 2 big of dessert.

is that too much for his system,
he takes it no problem

go by him.... if he eats it no problem, then its the right amount!!! jess (same age) has tins and polishes them off and a yoghurt afterwards!

I've been thinking about this too with my bruiser of a 6 month old ds. Don't want to overfeed him as he's so porky already! I've started putting the food for each meal into an old glass baby food jar (the 1 serving per jar type)as a way of measuring it out, and try to give him no more than that at each meal. Unless he is really hungry of course, but it seems to be enough.

Otherwise he would just eat and eat and eat...

thats a good idea jammy
