does anyone know how to make apple sauce?

in a smallish quantity (just enough to go with Sunday lunch) as oh doesn't like it and neither does my lo so it's a waste to buy a jar as it ends up going off in-between us having proper sunday roasts. thanks

Stew 1 or 2 bramley apples in little water in a hot pan, add sprinkle of sugar to ever so slightly sweeten.I have never used butter.

lily, i never end up with crispy crackling! no idea how to make it go crispy, just gets served up as it is usually n if it isn't liked then its tough

Score fat with sharp knive to obtain deep cuts in fat

Dry fat with paper towel during the day replacing every so often when absorb the water.

Pat dry, shake salt over and place in very hot oven for 30 mins

Turn down oven for rest of cooking

High heat for last 30 mins to blast crackling

YUM YUM YUM
