DH's loaf, which is baking as we speak(write), comprises:

One and a half cups of tepid water
4 tbsp skimmed milk powder
4 tbsp sunflower oil
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
4 cups strong white bread flour
one and a quarter tsp fast action yeast

moon thats really kind but I know I have the book somewhere - just not entirely sure what pile of junk it's in haha!

I know the recipe has water, salt, yeast, oil and flour - but not the quantities!

For 1.5lb Basic white

1 1/8 cups water
2tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 tbsp oil
3 cups flour
1 1/4 yeast

but I only ever measure roughly and it always turns out well.
