Birthday cake for a 1yo with egg allergy?

My DD's first birthday in a couple of weeks and it looks like she's allergic to eggs. Have another daughter who's allergic to milk so I can do dairy free cakes no problem. But egg-free...

Any suggestions?

I did an egg free chocolate cake for my ds's birthday, I'll see if I can dig out the recipe

I did a big jelly instead for my ds who I thought had an egg thing. Looked good with a candle in it.

My friend who is a baker made a honey cake for my DS (also egg-allergic), it was bloody lovely. I can ask for the recipe if you're interested.

Or you could do individual chocolate cornflake or rice crispie cakes?

I did this chocolate cake for my dd's birthday (she has dairy & egg allergy).

This carrot, apple & raisin cake is also lovely and can be made in a round sandwich tin and then iced etc. It is lovely and moist and great for little ones.

Hope that helps.

Stirlingmum beat me to it, that's the chocolate cake I did as well.

Thank you all. Think I might do your chocolate cake stirlingmum (with the topping!)
