How do I make plain flour into self raising flour?

I've run out of self raising flour and really can't face going out again - I need 225g / 8oz SR flour.

I have baking powder and bicarb of soda.

Can I make my own SR flour?

I would stick a teaspoon of baking powder in and use 8oz plain flour. Always works for me

Great - thanks!
