you can put them in a ckae or buns. No need to cook them first.

Cook some, with water and sugar. Strain off fruit, make ice lollies from juice.

Then make blackberry fool with the cooked fruit.

(Beat some cream, add fruit, add little icing sugar, chill in fridge)

Or 'make' youghurt by adding fresh fruit to natural yughourt and enough icing sugar to taste.
