Tesco sold my chicken - I am gutted

We arrived at Tescos & went straight to the cooked chicken counter and asked for a chicken to be put to one side for us (or it was hot when we finished shopping)

We shopped & then I sent DD back to get it

The lady had sold it by mistake

I have no cooked chicken for tea

I am gutted

maybe forget the chicken and hit the wine?!

There was a whole SUPERMARKET of other options hun

am roffling at you being GUTTED though

I must admit, when I saw the thread title I was wondering whether you had some sort of pet chicken that you had tied up outside the supermarket...

And look, us non-menu planners get by JUST FINE

like this:

1 hour before tea: look in garden for ideas. Pick 4 beans

40 minutes before tea: look in fridge. stare at 1 lb of cheese

30 minutes before tea: open wine

20 minutes before tea: put kettle on for Ready Brek

it is fine

I'm all chilled now

I couldn't cope with going round the supermarket again - DH normally shops & I had to do it as he is poorly

& yes I am a chicken keeper
