And Asda. DH went to find some dried yeast once and when he asked where it was, the chap went out to the bakery and got him some fresh stuff.

Once you get a little bit can you keep it somewhere and it keeps producing more?

It's all the time!

Sainsburys charge you for it.

We keep a big block in the fridge but DH throws it away after a while as it wont work! (not sure why!)

What do you do with it? I use dried in my bread maker...is it just the same?

I used to use this for fresh bread, but since I've got a breadmaker (ages ago) have used dried and forgotten about the fresh. I'd be really interested to know if anyone uses fresh yeast in a breadmaker. I'll have to give it a go if not.
