I am in search of some healthy dishes to cook for not just the kiddies but me and DH. I am afraid to say that the strains and pressures of life have resulted in too many take aways. DH and myself have each got about an excess stone to lose and generally want a healthier lifestyle!
We eat quite a bit of veg, but I am trying to extend our choices. Was going to do some swede and carrot mash, but Tesco mucked up the delivery again so we just have tons of carrots!!!
Have also got some sweet potatos, haven't used those since ds was weaning!! So ideas for those would be useful.
I will be searching on here for some ideas, hopefully my slow cooker will be getting used more often than it has previously too!
