Buffet for 20 adults 10 kids

At my house after DS2's christening.
What do I do?

A whole poached salmon.

A ham.

A side of beef.

New potatoes

Various salads.

Really delicious puds, e.g. pavlova, banoffee pie, or cheesecake.

Coronation Chicken or Delia's Tarragon chicken. Quiche. Perhaps good quality sausages. Then what Cies said.

However, slices of ham/beef can be difficult to eat if not everyone can sit down at a table.

Salmon easy to eat with just a fork. A caterer I know always recommends having the salmon filleted and then cut into little triangles before cooking - easier to pick up although a whole salmon looks really impressive.

oh, and if you have a Costco card/know someone who does, their desserts are fab and far cheaper than anywhere else.
