I've got 4 large egg yolks left over after making (not very successful) meringues - what can I do with them? don't have an ice-cream maker (or room in my freezer) so ice-cream is out - anything else that's relatively easy? (confidence dented by meringues ...)

zabaglione

mayonnaise? (easy as long as you don't overdo the oil - I halve the quanties in the Jamie Oliver recipe)

hollandaise - divine with asparagus or broccoli

creme brulee

pasta?

oo yes - fresh pasta with a carbonara sauce! Followed by creme brulee/zabaglione.

Egg yolks all round - in fact you'd probably need more than 4!
