help with pasta!!!!!

Hi

My ds just turned 1 year is quite good with his finger foods, but he wont touch pasta!!!! I mix it with dairylea but he just chucks it on the floor and starts crying.

Have any of you got any good tips???

Have you tried it plain with no sauce at all?

or with pesto?

I'd've thought pasta was a bit tricky as a finger food, especially with a slippery sauce? Maybe wait til he will eat from a spoon? Never fed a 1 year old though (yet), so whaddo I know, just a thought..
