Favourite M&S Goodies

I feel like treating myself so I'm planning on heading to M&S tomorrow for a few treats.

What should I have? Anything goes meals, drinks, sweets, cakes etc.

What's your favourite treat from M&s?

I'm very partial to their Percy Pigs of course, their sushi, hot smoked salmon and chocolate coated popcorn.

Cheese Tasters are the business, far superior to Wotsits!

WideWebWitch · 23/07/2008 21:02

seafood platter
and agree about Cook range, it's fab.

Leek and gruyere tartlets; sweetcorn relish; cocquille st jacques...

ooh and chocolate raisins - my treat on the days I work

Cranberry and oat bites in a tub
Chocolate brazils
Fizzy fish
Lemon and raspberry brulee cheesecake
Moussaka
Chicken and rocket pizza

They used to do something delish with prawns and lime and broccoli in the brown cardboard packaging but have stopped, the bastards.

I didn't get to go today whooosh, I ended up sorting out books I want to sell which took most of the day.

I'm hoping to get there in a day or two, though I may bankrupt myself in the process, everything sounds so good.

Walnut bread from instore bakery - nicer than from anywhere else.

Pannacotta · 23/07/2008 22:08

Lemon and raspberry brulee cheescake sounds fantastic!
I like all the chocolate, esp the organic choc buttons,
all the cheese I have tried
The very chocolately round bics
mini pittas
wild smoked salmon
basil and pecorino dip
feta and mint mini parcels
stawberries (always sweeter than anywhere else)
I could v badly wrong in M&S if only I could get it all home...

Does anyone remember those little triangle shaped crisps they used to do? They were called Deltas and were so addictive.

I almost cried when they stopped making those.

That's the really annoying thing about M&S - they make something great, then discontinue it.

Or, it reappears repackaged, with 'new, improved' written on it ... and it's turned to shite.

Oliveoil · 24/07/2008 11:18

I remember those triangle crisps too

Free bag for life with every purchase too.

Years ago they did garlic and herb crisps in a light blue packet and then just stopped them.
