Full fat dairy for 2 year old.

Evening,

I have a 2 year old.

Since she was weaned she's had plenty of full fat milk, yogurt, creme fraiche etc included in all her meals.

I have read confusing advice regarding the amount of full fat stuff the should eat from this age.

Could anyone please advise?

you can switch to semi-skimmed milk if you wish from the age of 2 but you dont have to. I think it is advised to stick with full fat other dairy products till the age of 5 though.

All should be full fat until she is 5 unless she is considered obese by a dr.

General rule is that they need around a pint of full fat dairy a day. She needs the high fat content for healthy brain development. High fat - low fibre at the moment.
You sound like she's doing well.
