I must start a thread entitled 'Which healthy food do you crave the most?' and see if as many enthusiastically drooling replies appear!

Niecie · 13/07/2008 19:14

Oh yes Pot Noodles although I like the beef ones best - not that it has come within 50 yds of a cow.

Very cheap jam - the kind that is about 85% sugar and virtually no fruit but at least you can spread it thin.

White bread toast and butter (with very cheap jam of course)

Bernard Matthews turkey breast slices with sage and onion - plastic really but tasty.

maidamess · 13/07/2008 19:15

Bernard matthews-Bootiful

I shared a house with an insufferably smug woman at University who claimed she would rather have a "crisp iceberg lettuce" than chocolate. She also would never use stock cubes, only homemade stock would do.. She was a mumsnetter 20 years ago at age 21 I think. I think we all jeered and carried on drinking our special brew and eating kebabs

Niecie · 13/07/2008 19:18

Oh and crisp sandwiches - preferably cheese and onion or salt 'n' vinegar!

Ooooooh foxy, a muffin with plastic cheese, I am salivating!

I am both alarmed and disgusted by the number of things on this thread which made me go "Ooooooooooooooh yeah actually I love that too!".

I just abandoned my work-in-progress chickpea soup and had chips and salad cream for dinner!

bearmama · 13/07/2008 19:31
