I know there are loads of cheap meal idea threads on here but this one is different because I need ideas that dont include beans of any variety, pasta, cheese, tomato sauces or soya.

Is it possible?

Me and the kids dont like beans and dh wont eat pasta, cheese, any basic tomato sauces and stuff like that.

So far for ideas I have;
Fish cakes with salad
macaroni with stuff thrown in (we'll eat that when dh isnt here)
chopped up park with cheapy noodles
roast chicken and then to use the leftovers for a pie the next day
red lentil mix of everything
chicken livers with bacon (have heard it is nice)

But thats all I have.
Any more ideas?
I have to do an online shop at some point today.

just out of interest - why won't he eat those things?

Tell him to grow up and eat what everyone else eats. It is impossible not to like - or at least be able to eat - pasta. Don't put up with behaviour from adults that you wouldn't tolerate in children.

He just doesnt like it.
The only thing I can knock him for is cheese because he refuses to try it and the last time he ate it was when he was a child.
Pasta he has tried again at home and at work and he cannot eat it.
At work he gets some of his meals provided and if it is pasta he just doesnt eat.

So its not really him being childish.

Now seafood, he will try anything. I however cannot obide seafood and think that the taste is very strong so it baffles me how he can eat that and not pasta and cheese.

He will eat rice but only on odd occasions.

His mum tells me that he was an incredibly fussy eater as a child and she had years of torment with him and food.
All he would eat stew type dishes, meat and potatoes.
