hi all!

i typed these words in google and the links that came back were not that great. i quite like the recipes that use concentrated apple juice instead of sugar, but i cannot find it anywhere, only online. with shipping, it will cost me 10 pounds for something that only lasts 4 weeks.

i would like to make a birthday cake for my DD that is not full of sugar and butter. im ok with her eating a bit of it, but my cake recipes although delicious, they are pure evil. for the frosting i will use cream cheese and just enough sugar to make it sweet.

any recipe suggestions for me? her bithday is on the 24th of july.

thank you!

somewhere like holland and barratt ought to stock it, i think ours does.
where in the country are you?

You can get concentrated apple juice in Holland and Barret (or most other health food shops).

We did a no-added-sugar carrot cake for dd's first birthday - will try to hunt out a recipe. It used apple concentrate and tinned pineapple and was relly sticky and yummy.
