made potato, spinach and chickpea curry last Sunday and put it in the fridge and forgot about it. Do you think it'll still be ok to eat tonight?

I wouldn't have eaten it on Sunday.

Goober · 05/07/2008 19:36

No.

LOL @ Cocolepew!

FrannyandZooey · 05/07/2008 19:37

No not really - maybe Thurs or Fri, yes
if you really feel you must, absolutely heat it to within an inch of its life

I hate wasting food. Could I get food poisening from vegetables?

Does it smell? Have you tasted it?

cocolepew · 05/07/2008 19:45

I was being facetious

cardy · 05/07/2008 19:45

Smells like curry. Haven't tasted it, just trying to decide whether to reheat it???

OK - try a bit before cooking it - the only thing I would be concerend about is the spinach as it may have become slimy. If it doesn't have a sour taste to it, then its fine IMO.

shirleyghostman · 05/07/2008 19:48

When I say sour taste I mean the whole lot not just the spinach

LittleMyDancing · 05/07/2008 19:49

as long as it doesn't smell rank or look mouldy, it'll be fine. curried things keep quite a long time, and vegetables really aren't going to do you much harm I don't think.

but then I ain't a doctor!

heated and tastes fine...nice in fact. The stuff you get in supermarkets have been a lot longer than a week before, then perhaps they are full of preservatives.

What's the worst that could happen?
