Never done the philly thing

Salmon wrapped in Parma ham is nice (squeeze of lemon and salt and pepper before putting the ham on) and then cook for about 10-15 mins. Ham keeps the salmon moist

Not done it that way but have done this recipe which is fab.

Poach salomon fillets in pan of water
Cook pasta twists
add small broccoli piece to pan of pasta for last five mins

Make a sauce using 100g garlic &herb philly, 140ml cream, 1 tablespoon of sundried tomatoe paste.

bung all together yummy scrummy

I tried it but added some stuff too...

mix a little pesto into the philly, whizz up some breadcrubs with a little bit of fresh grated parmesan put on top, bung in oven.

was really good and I don't really like salmon. Or pesto.

pesto is remarkably rank sometimes. Quite good for a quick cheaty salad dressing though, just add extra virgin, bit of lemon juice. Drizzle on stuff - new pots, asparagus, smoked salmon etc etc.

Horrid on pasta though.

We had the pasta that ConnorTraceptive suggested for tea last night. I just had the leftovers for lunch. It's yummy. We don't bother with the cream - just use extra soft cheese.
